While the Skagit Valley is best known for it’s tuplip fields, late May had plenty of colorful patches of bulbs and plenty to see.
Another spin through the tulips, though this week, joined by the man in the dark jacket.
With the day bright and a car to get there, Skagit Valley was a swell place to play hookie for the day and get in some miles on the bike.
Traveling light, this 150 mile loop had great scenery and good food.
On par with Holland for cool and damp, it’s perfect for growing bulbs and is our country’s largest bulb growing area.
