While Vic and I opted for our first car trip in almost year, cycling either side of the Hudson must be a bit like my trip to France with the short distances between interesting stops, plenty of decent food to eat at along the way, and the well-marked NYS Cycle Route 9
I was interested in three things at the festival: maple donuts, seeing syrup tapped and boiled, and the Fiddler’s Variety show…the maple donuts were the size of a child’s head.
there are many reasons one dies alone at 92. And of course, Gertrude still kept a servant who disappears from the story into the desperation of Great Depression.
