A weekend of beach walks at Twin Harbors State Park near Westport.
It used to be difficult to get a reservation to get into Bloedel Reserve, but now, you can just show up. It’s a great half-day out.
The wildflowers are blooming and I really recommend going there for a hike before the snakes come out!
It took nine months, but I’ve completed every walk in the books, most with friends along for the stroll. If you live in Seattle, I can’t recommend this book enough.
One of my favorite drives in Washington is through Yakima Canyon. We went for camping, but ended up doing something completely different.
Only five or six miles from my house, it’s taken me twenty years to actually find and go to Kubota Gardens. What a shame. It is so beautiful.
My phone recently died, which means I have a new camera with some new features. Definitely fun to play with on my recent trip to the Olympic National Park and the northern beaches of Washington.
