Stairs in Lakewood: Walk 22

27 Jan ’14
48th Ave S Stairs

We went up, we went down, we walked along Lake Washington, we went up, we went down. A few miles south of us, this is a neighborhood I’ve never walked through, only passed by on bicycle along the lake or occasionally going the small business district just south of the starting point for this walk. There are a few of these stairs I can’t wait to see in more light, as they felt quite secluded and fun.

I’m getting my exercise this winter following the walks in “Seattle Stairway Walks”. You can get your copy here.

On Saturday, February 8th, Feet First hosts its second annual Stairway Walks Day, with guided tours across Seattle neighborhoods, featuring stairs, stairs and more stairs!
