As we were heading up another set of stairs, stairs neither of us had ever seen before, my friend N, slapped me on the arm and said, “This is your best idea yet, and you have lots of good ideas!”
I guess that would sum up how I ended up doing two of these Seattle Stairway Walks in two different parts of the city on the same day.
Madrona is walking distance from my house. A long walk, but still something I’ve done many times. But it was fun to do a bit of route-finding, be a bit lost, and to have to guess if either us had actually been on that particular street or ever seen that particular house. Pure delight. This walk was certainly tougher than my morning walk.
