The News from Japan

I can’t read Japanese, but I thought it might be interesting for our my American pals to see the kinds of images that are filling Japanese papers. I’ve been flipping through them over my Western breakfast set. I’m mostly interested in the info-graphics and thinking about how long it might take me to get used to lightly dressed coleslaw with my morning coffee.

It’s startling stuff to look at. I wish I could read what the heck is going on.
