The Kyoto Extension

10 Apr ’11
Pagoda at Kiyomizu

We had a tough time leaving Kyoto.

First we thought we’d leave on Monday, but pretty quickly we knew we wouldn’t leave till Tuesday. Then we stayed an extra day and cancelled our reservation in Nara. Then we decided to go to Nara, but come back to Kyoto. Then we decided to leave, but ended up staying yet another day. We finally left on Sunday.

I really loved being in Kyoto and only scratched the surface as tourists and tourism goes, let alone actually feeling like I was part of the city.
