Loops with Larry

27 Jul ’09

It’s going to be a scorcher of a week here in Seattle. Over the weekend, I weaseled out of not one but two rides claiming heat exhaustion and frustration. This morning, Larry would have none of it.

Today while showing Larry some new routes and trail connections, we combined most of the popular city loops into a 50 mile trek: Interbay, Discovery Park, Ballard, parts of the Burke-Gilman, Lake Washington and even the West Seattle Loop around Alki. Turns out, it was quite pleasant for most of our outing as we kept near the water and a pokey pace.
