Twin Six: Look Smart, Do Good

6 Nov ’08

Some of you may have fat friends. Or you may even be fat yourself. If you are, you know how hard it is to buy smart looking lycra off-the-shelf. It’s not at Lane Bryant I’m saying, and those hotties at REI, they’re buying smaller sizes.

That’s why I was thrilled to learn that the smart jersey designers at Twin Six produce sweet looking gear not only to a reasonable XL, but also XXL, and “I love me barbeque and beer” XXXL. Sweet Jesus!

Between right now and Monday, 10am CST these folks are doing some good turns for Elden of the Fat Cyclist (my god, he is a waif!) and his family, who are battling with cancer. For every BIG jersey you buy (XL-XXXL for the guys, and L-XXL for the ladies) they’ll give half the purchase price, not profits mind you, purchase price to Elden’s family. That not only sweet, it’s righteous.

Twin Six: Go shopping.

So Knox are you going to join Team Fatty and ride the live strong challenge with me. I’m also sporting a fatty jersey though hopefully it will be a bit loose by the time the challenge rolls around.
