Oh! Possum…

13 Jul ’08

“What are we going to do with them?” asked Vic when we got back from our mini-moon to find two baby possums in the bottom of our yard waste can.

It seems that we’ve been too successful in the transformation of our yard into an edible paradise. We’ve birds moving in, bugs everywhere, and now the possums and raccoons from the bramble lots next door are checking us out.

After spending a day panting in our can and eating organic cat food and bananas, we tipped the can over and let them find their way home. It’s likely they’ll be back.
