Grayland Looks Like a Tradition

Grayland State Park

For the third year in row, I’ve made the trip down to Grayland State Park for a Spring weekend on the beach. This year, in addition to unseasonably warm weather, a large group of friends rented yurts around the campground, making for more time around the campfire telling jokes.

I’ve recommended this before, but for early Spring “camping”, the Grayland yurts with their bunks, lights, and space heaters can’t be beat. At $45.00 a night, there’s plenty to do for a weekend if you chose too, and plenty not to do, if you’d rather walk the beach.

Our pal Pam writes a heck of a lot more about this Grayland weekend, here. And you can always click back for the 2007 Oyster Drive or the 2006 Girlfriend Weekend.
