A Dumptruck of Dirt: Now that’s Love

Call me crazy, but I can’t recall a Valentine’s Day that I felt so joyously manic. In the morning, before I drank the coffee I’ve been quitting, Vic said, “Sure, let’s get the dirt delivered.”

This weekend we’ll be planting peas and arugula and building my first cloche.

It’s a pile of half organic top soil, half Cedar Grove compost from Sayers Fuel on Rainer. We are going to have salad that truly rules.
