For a Cool Half Million

27 Sep ’07

Every wall in house covered in grafitti

For the last couple weeks, Vic and I have been getting an education on Seattle real estate. We’re trying to stay in a walkable neighborhood, one that we can amble to downtown from, and with easy bus connections to the Eastside. We’re fortunate enough that we can make this happen.

What this means though is we are either in place where the walls have been painted like the pictures above or a condo, more than likely on the ground level. Considering the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought was my bicycle, which may be the most expensive thing Vic has ever bought as well, it is giving us a bit of anxiety.

The current leading candidate has no parking, no storage, and we’ll have to walk our bikes up three flights of stairs, though they can stay on the landing. I guess we’d have to buy plastic mats for them to sit on out there.
