Geeks love Space. They love the idea of intergaltic alliances and floating toothpaste. They like it when doors slide open on command and inanimate objects follow them around and emote.
Vic was very happy to visit the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. While there, he touched a moon rock (smoothed by many people fingering it) and admired rockets.
We recommend the following to future geek visitors: go early and get in line instantly for the tour: Blue takes you to old Mission Control and is not as popular as Red which goes to current Mission Control. In the ideal world, you would do both tours and skip out on the “simulators”, especially as the Star Trek game you have at home is likely more advanced. The place is packed with small, bored children being bad: prepare yourself! Finally, the real stuff, on loan from the Smithsonian is hidden in the back behind the Star Gallery, but worth a prolonged and serious look.
