Fall Hike to Talapus Lake
6 Oct ’06

One of the lowest and easiest to reach Alpine Lakes, Talapus Lake is 50 miles east of Seattle, right off I-90. When we got to the parking lot, an early trail runner told us, “There’s a bear up at the lake.”

This is one reason I love the Northwest.
