Bike Disaster Videos

3 Feb ’06

Totally Insane. Click for Video!

Todd sent me this video after our discussion and my demonstration of being a brake rider going down the slightest hill.

It has all the elements of fine television: it is in Japanese, has a crotch shot, cuts to awed spectators, and yep, it has some serious tragedy, as this guy’s bike disintegrates as he rockets down some lunar mountain at over 100 miles an hour.

Let’s be clear, I’ll never be that guy, and I’m ok with that.

Damn!

THAT was some crash!

I once hit 30 mph on a winding, 7 mile, mtn. downhill.

Only on the Straight-aways, though. ;-D

I hit the brakes before each twist in the road. ;-D
