I’ve lived in Boston for 5 1/2 years though I’m from Berkeley, CA and my sister lives in Seattle. I went to visit her about 3 months ago- and I couldn’t get over 2 things there: 1. People saying hello, for no apparent reason other than just being nice and 2. No one jay walks.
I have to say, I jaywalk if no one is coming– it gets really cold waiting on the corner in the snow…
