As a recent retiree, my mother appears to have a) too much time on her hands, b) too-easy access to moth stickers, or c) a new supply of Zoloft.
She writes that they enjoy “slacking” at their RV pod near Waco, Texas. The snow-bird life suits them: they sit under a big oak tree and talk to other folks in the trailer park. I would have never thought my mom would describe herself as a slacker. They will head west and then north later this spring and we are hoping to connect while I’m out biking toward Seattle.
Usually we play cards, but I might just pick up a pack or two of stickers instead as I like to see mother happy.
